Good Morning, Future Investors! 🌞

If you're a first-time IPO investor and feeling a bit overwhelmed, don't worry! Here's your quick and easy guide to navigating IPO allotment like a pro. Whether you're in it for the thrill or the potential returns, these steps will simplify the process for you.

Step-by-Step Guide To Check For IPO Allotment

Step 1: Apply Through Your NJ Account

First things first—log in to your NJ account and submit your IPO application. Once you hit submit, you'll get a confirmation message. This is your green light.

Step 2: Watch for the Email

Once your application heads to the BSE, keep an eye on your inbox. You'll receive an email confirming that the application has been received. A small win, but we're just getting started.

Step 3: Authorize Your UPI

Now comes the action! Your UPI app (like Gpay, Bhim, Amazon Pay) will prompt you for authorization. Go ahead and approve it before the IPO closes—the deadline's usually 5:59 PM on the last day. Timing is everything.

Step 4: The Mandate Hold 🕒

Your bank will now block the amount you applied for in the IPO. Think of it as putting your money on "hold," but don't worry—it's still in your account. Just waiting to see if you hit the IPO lottery

Checking Your IPO Allotment: Did You Get It?

Here's the moment of truth! Once the IPO allotment is done, you can easily check the status online. If you've been allotted the shares—congratulations. The shares will automatically be credited to your demat account, and you're officially a shareholder. The remark on your funds will change to Ececuted

If you didn't get the shares, no worries—the bank will release your blocked funds back to your account. You're free to use that amount for your next IPO adventure or whatever you like. The remark on your funds will change to Revoked

And that's it. Whether you got the shares or not, now you know exactly how the IPO allotment process works.
